AO Amber's Organics LLC Chia Seeds are grown sustainably without synthetic pesticides, GMO influences,
herbicides, or artificial fertilizers,  they are certified organic. Now who said you can take them as a tea? You certainly can and you will probably get more benefits than ever before. I tried this method once with my elderberry extract, hot tea that way, pretty decent and you cannot imagine how beneficial it is to your immune system.

Now let's get on to the important stuff, see what they do.   Below.

Antioxidants

Considering how tiny these seeds are they are loaded with powerful antioxidants that help our bodies fight free radials, reject the effects of stress, pollution, and chemicals, and keep us looking and feeling young!

Essential Fatty Acids

There’s a pretty impressive amount of polyunsaturated fats in chia seeds, including the coveted omega-3s.  In fact, chia has one of the highest plant contents of omega-3s which helps them help us think better, fight inflammation, and stay super healthy.

Mineral Magic

Chia seeds contain some of the most important and essential minerals like calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and manganese. Just a couple of tablespoons a day will get you on your way to meeting your body’s mineral needs.

Weight Management

Chia seeds help make us feel full and satiated longer so that we snack and crave less. They also help regulate blood sugar meaning that we can make better, more calm choices about the foods we eat instead of eating to curb a sugar crash. Win!

Super-Energizing Power...For Greater Endurance and “Go Power”! Due to its unique blend of Protein, Essential Fats, Fiber, Complex Carbohydrates, and Antioxidants, chia is unrivalled among seeds and grains for providing energy to your body.

Improves Cardiovascular Health...super high levels of heart-healthy EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids)...chia’s oil contains the highest-known percentage of omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid, a whopping 62%–64%!

Stabilizes Blood Sugar...Reduces blood sugar swings...and supports conditions of hypoglycemia and diabetes.

Reduces Cravings for Sweets and Junk Foods—high soluble fiber content releases natural, unrefined carbohydrate energy slowly into the bloodstream.

Improves Mental Focus and Concentration. Chia’s balanced essential fatty acids can signficantly boost your brain power...and brighten your mood.

High-Quality Protein—Chia contains 20% or more protein...a higher percentage protein than found in other grains, such as wheat, corn, rice, or oats.

Builds Lean Muscle Mass...Plus it’s useful for weight loss and weight maintenance. Chia is suitable for all lifestyles and dietary regimens, including low-carb diets and vegetarian diets.

Gluten-Free. Unlike grain-source proteins, chia seed protein contains no gluten. You can eat chia without worrying about gluten if you are sensitive to it…or about developing gluten sensitivity. Chia is an ideal food for individuals with gluten sensitivity, carbohydrate intolerance, hypoglycemia, celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, or anyone who wants to avoid common gluten-containing grains like corn, barley, and wheat.

An Ideal Food for nearly everyone, including individuals with food allergies, food sensitivities, or food and chemical hypersensitivity. One study found no evidence of allergic response to chia, even in individuals with peanut and tree nut allergies.

Super-Hydration and Electrolyte Balance. Chia’s soluble fiber (hydrophilic colloids) massively retains water...keeps you well-hydrated and maintains your electrolyte balance.

Supports Healthy Elimination and Detoxification—healthy oils and fiber contribute to greater regularity and comfort...beneficial effects not to be underestimated!

Uniquely Balanced. Chia offers an amazingly balanced ratios of macro-nutrients...better balanced than most grains, seeds, and many other foods.

..........and you think that is all, wrong, there are many more benefits you can research for your self via this great world of internet.

Now on to your chia seed sustainer tea making lesson.

I like to use about a tablespoon of chia seeds in a 16 ounce cup of herbal tea. You can use them whether you’re drinking iced, hot, or room temperature tea.

Prepare your tea as usual, and put the chia seeds in. Initially they will float on top of the water…

After a minute or two, or with a gentle stir, the seeds will sink to the bottom. Some may remain floating and that’s just fine.

At this point you’ll want to wait for about 3 minutes before you drink your tea. During that time, the seeds will expand and a gelatinous field will appear around each of them. This is where the good stuff is! Wait until most of the seeds have opened up like this before you enjoy your tea…

Now you can enjoy your tea like usual! Just swallow the seeds along with your sips of tea and they’ll go to work with their many healing benefits as soon as they make it to your digestive system.

Chia seeds can be added to literally any herbal tea, from sweet to savory. You can pop a few in any of my herbal blends to boost the nutritional value and taste.  They have an almost undetectable nutty flavor that pretty much gets lost with any tea that has a more complex flavor. You can also toss chia seeds into a water bottle and get them as you hydrate during the day!

What type of tea to use

There are lots of variation on the type of tea you can use. I used hibiscus raspberry tea, but green tea, black tea, rooibos or any kinds, really, will work very well too. I suggest you try with your favorite tea and see how you like it
